Nowadays the people are enjoying a more comfortable life and many people are suffering from obesity. Thus， losing weight becomes very popular.

Some people enjoy living together with their parents after they have grown up. They hold the opinion because, living with parents, they can take better care of their parents and vice versa. Meanwhile, they can turn to their parents for help if they get into trouble or have some difficulties. To them, life in a big family seems to be more enjoyable than that in a small family.
Others, however, prefer to live separately. They cherish the idea to be independent of their parents, seek more freedom and wish to have a place of their own, in which they can do what they like. Bedsides, they dont want to be overprotected by their parents but long for chance to face the society by themselves.
As to me, I like an independent life style in spite of the fact I love my parents. Different generations have different life styles and values. What one generations likes may not be another generations fondness. Living separately, each generation can enjoy different value. In addition, by leading an independent life, I can train my character and develop my own ability to deal with things encountered in my life.
Thirdly, modern conveniences such as radio, TV, internet, various vehicles and labour-saving machines in the home, all greatly facilitate human communication, transportation and housework as well.
Nevertheless, living in the 21st century also has its disadvantages. The most serious one is the increasingly polluted environment; air is filled with smog and water is contaminated by iehemicals from main disadvantage is the personalization of human relattonships which mostly result from people’s ever-increasing contact with machines and numbers. Still one more disadvantage is the weakening of spiritual values. An undeniable fact is that a large number of people are solely interested in materialistic culture,while neglecting spiritual civilization. Limited by space, we have to skip the examples.
In conclusion, although the 21st century has indeed given us a lot of advantages, it may not have made us wiser, because it has also made our earth dirtier, our people less humane, and our spirituali iife poorer, We shpuld continue to enjoy the benefits of technological advancement,however, we must
make a concerted effort to preserve our natural environment for future generations. Moreover, we should take the time now to make our lives more meaningful in anihcreasingly impersonal, computerized world.
Nowadays, TV PK Shows (or we can call it Talent Shows) are great hit in China and have attracted many young people. As for me, TV PK Shows, as all other things, have both positive and negative effects. Therefore, the most crucial thing is how we see them.
Some people think Talent Shows provide grass-root people with a stage to display their talents, so they should seize every opportunity to show off their talents. For undergraduates college students, deciding what to do upon graduation can be a tough decision to say the least. From my point of view, I prefer to pursuing postgraduate students. My choice can be attributed to the following two driving forces.
For one thing, I want to continue my studies for their own sake because I love what I am doing. In fact, having a passion for my subject is possibly the best reason to go into postgraduate education. For another thing, entering into a postgraduate school, I can improve my job prospects. Specializing at postgraduate level can make you a stronger job applicant.

When i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted , I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Facing the two options, I will choose to take a job in a company. There are mainly two reasons for my choice.
On one hand, I am eager to apply what I’ve learned to practice since I have got so many years’ schooling.
