Getting to Know the World outside the Campus It is necessary for college students to know the world outside the campus. This is because in this “Information Age” the society is developing so fast that we should keep pace with the progress of the outside world. Therefore, without knowledge of the outside world, it will be difficult for us to secure an ideal job after graduation; it will be more difficult for us to succeed in the near future. How to know the outside world? First of all, we should be well informed about what is happening around us with the help of mass media: radios, televisions, newspapers, the Internet, and so on. Moreover, we should do more practical social services so as to cultivate our social skills, widen our eyesight and enrich our social experience.
As for me, I plan to know the outside world in two aspects: study first to have a good command of knowledge. At the same time, I intend to hold a temporary job to know more about the outside world.
Nowadays, the life of university is very wonderful. the life of university once we dreamed is before us now.
My college life is so different from before . At weekends, I do a part-time job at the nearby supermarket. I need to experience the world outside, I need to grow up . From it, my get real improvement.
my study result is ordinary. And there are weak poor subjects. But I think I have to study hard. I believe: no pains ,no gains. I hope my future work is my favourite professional. More importantly, I know I have to do my work from grass-rootslevel. So, from now on, I hope I can have perseverance毅力and courage to overcome the difficulties of life . I wont give up easily.

A fifteen-year-old boy was injured in a car accident when the minivan he was traveling in was hit by a pickup truck at an intersection. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital. The paramedics said that it appeared that the boy had nothing more serious than a broken left leg, but that internal injuries were always a possibility. The boy was conscious and alert. when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted , I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldn't play with my friends a lot, which I couldn't stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be considered for the College Entrance Examination.
However, my college life is totally different from the life in high can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my my free time, I also join some clubs,where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My teachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.
I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i can learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be myself.
What animals mean to human being, close friends or lists of recipe? Some people consider that animals should be regarded as friends instead of food or sources of clothing, while the opponents think animals are born to service for human being.
As far as I am concerned, I advocate the former's opinoin. There are two main reasons for that. First of all, it is known that more and more rare animals are endangered, because of the human being's capture. People peel off the animals' skin to make coats and use their further to make clothes, even eating the meat of extinct animals and don't care whether the food is delious or not, only because it is rare and not easily available. Which definitely leads to the extinction of certain animals. On the other hand, with the development of civilization, people should acknowledge that every creature has its right to live. Which guaranteea the harmony of the earth. Thus people need to show their respect to the animals and let them live better instead of hurting them or killing them. This behavior should be forbidden in today's civilized circumstance.
In conclusion, presently animals are no longer regarded as sources of food and clothing. In stead, animals are people's close friends who can company people especially to the olders who always like rearing the pets with whose company the olders don't feel lonely any more. For those animals who are disapearing, people need to pay more attention to them to aviod their extinction. Otherwise people could only see them in museum, not in the nature. What a pity.

there are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of people think eamination is the only best way to test how eaminees have mastered what they have studied and it is the only measurement for eaminers to select which persons they , on the other hand,some object that eamination cant measure how the students have really say it can do nothing but burden the students.
as for me,i think for both eaminers and eaminees,the eamination can show what and how much the eaminees have results of eaminations are just like mirrors for both eaminers and eaminees.
through eamination the eaminees can check their work and get aware of which aspects they have not done well,so that theyll make much improvement in their far as eaminees are concerned,they can not only know how they have studied but also find out what they still unknown or what they havent mastered will be inspired to greater efforts to improve their studying method so as to make greater course too many eaminations are burbens to both eaminers and eaminees.
in sum,the eamination does more good than harm for both eaminers and must take a correct attitude towards should take full advantage of it and avoid its disadvantage.
As the technology of public transportation keeps advancing， more citizens can choose to dwell in the cities that are beneficial to their own development. Inevitably， there occurs a controversy whether moving to a new city or country will lead to the rupture of relationship among friends. From my perspective， I think the statement is not sensible.
Firstly， moving to a new country or city will not result in the loss of old friends. To be more specific， the maintenance of friendship doesn’t lie in how far they live with each other and the development of technology has diversified the ways of interacting with friends. The invention of cellphones break the shackles caused by distance and overseas students can choose to communicate with their family members and friends through a variety of Apps like WeChat that makes video calls possible. Except for that， by looking at the pictures popping up all over the social media like Facebook， people can easily capture what is happening to their friends. For instance， my friend Selina took selfie in the Sydney Opera House a week ago and I would learn that she was having fun in the Australia with her picture posted on the . Therefore， a wide range of advanced electronic gadgets can be used to sustain friendship.
Moreover， instead of losing old friends， city migrants can even enlarge their social circles and achieve more success. Restricted in a city for a long period， people may be trapped in a situation that would block their development and they can gain refreshing experience while immigrating to a new city. My friend of Mine named Michael served as a Market Analyst in a renewed company in Beijing. However， he couldn’t see any progress in recent years and then an opportunity comes out. Because of his five-year working experience， a foreign trade cooperation tried to recruit him as the Market Analyst because the firm was planning to start a new program. Then he grasped the chance and earn a challenging life that he likes even though he was required to work in Shanghai. Our relationship have not experienced any interruption and his strong ability of being adapted to the new environment helps him to make lots of new friends. Accordingly， moving to a new city can， occasionally， help to break the deadlock in our professions.
Admittedly， it can be sensible that friends can be estranged owing to the long distance with each other. Specifically speaking， the chances to meet with each other will be limited a lot. However， as I just put， for one thing， people can talk with each other through various social network software. For another thing， the distance between cities is not a problem anymore since there have been many public transportation tools like the high-speed trains and airplanes that will lead us to anyplace we try to go in a very short period.
In a word， moving to a new city or a new country is good choice under some circumstance. Besides， the highly developed technology can help to strengthen the relations with our friends and the possibilities of living a different life and achieving success can both explain why I stand by the statement that it is a good thing to move to a new city.

Generation gap between parents and children

also, students go to colleges or universities to have experiences and learn to live on their own. going to colleges often means having the opportunity to meet with different people from different parts of the country. they learn to communicate and co-operate with each other.
for most students, we guess, it is the first time that they have been away from home. they are faced with many new situations and have to learn to solve them independently, making decisions on their own and dealing with various things themselves. so colleges and universities help them grow up.

Is It Meaningful to Receive College Education?
Given the fact that many college students have difficulties in finding jobs in the recent,thousands of high school students are reported to refuse to take the National College Entrance news seems so convincing that many students,their parents, and the society reach the conclusion that receiving college education is a waste of time and , these students can earn some money working in big cities or running their own business in the near future. However, I am of opinion that this view is myopic,
which is to the detriment of personal development and China’s overall growth in the long term.
Firstly, in terms of personal development, university is not a vocational training center despite the fact that a university diploma indicates graduates are more likely to find decent jobs. Instead, university is a place for personal cultivation and improvement. In universities, students will learn to find their real interests, perfect their personality, and form right outlooks toward the world. Furthermore, students will learn to gather, analyze, and evaluate information so that they can resolve problems in their lives. For those who are suspicious of the value of higher learning, to some extent, they can be regarded as plutolatry. They worship money and believe that money is everything in their lives.
Secondly, in terms of national growth, the advancement of a nation is characterized by its greatness of high education. In this sense, universities are the centers of research and academic exploration. Take the United States for instance. Among the top 100 universities in the world, the majority of them are located in the United States. The advancement of US high education is indicative of the fact that those universities produce the most Nobel Prize laureates in comparison with other countries. American universities also turn out to be a magnet for most smart students around the world. Those universities contribute tremendous share to the US’ growth through scientific and technological China, if the belief that receiving college education is a waste of time and money can not be corrected in time, it is inevitable that China can only reap short-term GDP growth but will be deprived of opportunity to become a competitive international players in the long run, for the human resource will be drained eventually.
In sum, receiving college education will benefit both individual and the country. Indicative of the dire job market for college graduates is not the uselessness of college education. Instead, college education means we should study harder to make a full preparation for the future.

Monday is one of the most important days in a week. I think I always make a weekly schedule at first, which is a good way to plan my life. For example: Last week on Monday from 8:00am to 3:40pm, which time was finishing my school class. After that, I would take a nap until 4:45pm. Then, I went to library to learn English, of course, The DynEd Courseware. It’s not good for my health that I don’t have enough time to have dinner. Between 10:00pm and 11:00pm, I practiced my body in the gymnastic because I want to lose weight. I usually go to bed at 12: play the computer game once a week on Friday evening with my friend. One week’s work make me tired, so it’s a special time for me to have a rest. This is my daily routine from last week, include five work days.
Saturday and Sunday are different from other five days. Because I have a lot of classes, such as: karate class in Shichahai and English class in soho high street. Just I think it is more useful for me than my school class. Keep practice my body and brain are the most important things on the weekend. Usually, I finish my English work in the morning and work out in the evening. I like my life plan is very regular, which is good for my healthy. But I don’t have enough time to take a rest, maybe sometimes I feel tired. Keep doing, I will get benefits from my schedule.
All of this is my weekly schedule, my daily routine same as everyday. It ’s very interesting, my schedule make me look like an old man. Believe it or not, I will never give up and try my best to achieve my dream.

We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

the worst eample of man＇s waste is the waste of time. many people tend to spend their time on worthless things, such as wandering about in the street, gossiping in the office, sleeping too much during the day. as we know, time is very precious to us since it passes by and never returns. the waste of time amounts to the waste of life.

Different people have different ambitions. When children study at school, they already have their own ideals. Stone want to be engineers or doctors in the future. Others want to be artists or businessmen. Still others want to be teachers or lawyers. But few want to be farmers.
Unlike most people, I choose to be a farmer in the future and make contributions to development of agriculture. Agriculture is essential to the national economy and the people's livelihood. Without it there won't be grains on which people survive. Nevertheless, farmers are ignored, even looked down upon by urban people. I determine to challenge the traditional idea and contribute to changing this situation.
However, lt is not easy to he a modern farmer in the 21st century. A modern farmer must be equipped with a variety of knowledge such as chemlstry, biology and meteorology. Therefore, I must study conscientiously from now on so that I can get the chance to study as a postgraduate in an agricultural university.
I believe only a man with scientific knowledge can meet the challenge of the 21st century and assume the task of modernizing agriculture.
as the keen competition becomes more common in our society, nowadays people are facing more work-related stress. those never finished work put us into a situation in which we have a race against time. the problem is that the task must be done at the moment has nothing to do with our ultimate aim, but a lot are still waiting for us to deal with. so when the deadline comes, stress affects us physically and psychologically.
in my oppion, two things cause stress, tiredness and time. you can imagine when a pile of work is laid out before your ehausted body, you must feel some changes in yourself, such as increased breathing rate, blood pressure level, headache and oppressed.
