In China, our name is made up the first name and the last name. In America, people’s name is also made up of the first name and the last name, but there is something different. In China, our last names are from our ancestors, the last names are put in front of the first name. While in America, their last names are put behind the first name. The order is the main difference. After knowing the American name, we must be careful with these names, when we call the foreign friends, we should call their first name, when we are not familiar with them, we should call their last name. Don’t mix it with Chinese names.

Personally, this winter holiday was quite different. Because of COVID-19, Ihad to study at home and take online classes. As a result, I found I was able tolearn by myself. I also helped my parents with housework like cooking. And Ilearned how to cook well. Last but not least, I had more time to communicatewith my parents. Therefore I learned to get on better with them.
What I learned during this holiday will surely influence my future life. Iwill be more self-controlled and independent. And I am sure I will facedifficulties and challenges more bravely.

This year, there are many movies about in honor of people’s fading youth,the movies are very popular by the audience.
Suddenly the topic about youthbecomes a hot topic, many people collect the symbol things which stand for theiryouth, they are remembering their youth. For the young, they you enjoying thebeautiful lifetime, while for the old, they are just recalling it. On myopinion, youth is nothing to do with the age, we can enjoy the youth all thetime. The movies recall people’s memory, if people are active, they can be youngforever, there is no need to look back on the memory. When people get older,they can live as the young, they don’t have to be act as the old, people get oldwhen they think they are old.
There is a famous song Forever Young, it remindspeople to keep young at heart.
I think health is very important in our life, but how to keep healthy?
To keep healthy, I believe that we should have a healthy lifestyle. First,we should eat a balanced diet. We should eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, theyare good for our health. Also, we should drink milk every day. Then, we shouldexercise twice or three times a week. Doing sports is healthy for our mind andour body. Next, we should get enough sleep. It is best to get at least eighthours’ sleep a day. We shouldn’t stay up too late. We should go to bed early andget up early.
In a word, health is very important in our life.
Health is most important for any of us. ]n order to stay healthy, we need some common knowledge.
First]y, pay attention to the diet. We should eat lots of fruit and vegetables, because they are rich in fiber and Iow in fat. As a proverb says, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” So fruit is good for health. Dont have a lot of food that contains too much fat, such as butter. Meanwhile, sweets should be eaten in proper quantity, because too much sugar does harm to us. Dont drink too much coffee,either
Secondly, exercise is necessary. Regular exercise can help us keep from getting fat. People who do running every day usually have stronger hearts than who dont.
Finally, form good living habits. We should sleep for about 8 hours at night,and never work too hard. Over work and little sleep will lead to illness. Whats more, stay away from cigarettes.
These are the things we should pay attention to so as to stay healthy.
On a sunny day, down by the river, a fishermen -who does not know how to swim- is in a world of his own, waiting for the fish to surrender and be the mans catch of the day, but in a slight error, the man slipped and fell into the river, all was seen by a young man who just happened to pass by, saw the whole scenario and saved the fishermen, the fishermen was quite ashame of himself for he a fishermen who can not swim, after the accident, the fishermen gave enough thought into wanting to learn to swim and thus beginning lessons for amatures whom do not know how to swim.
Pollution is becoming more and more serious. at the batteries all around us. We all know that used batteries are bad for environment. We shouldnt throw them away. We should recycle them. Look at the plastic bags all around us. We all know plastic bags never rot. When we do shopping, we can use paper bags to store goods instead of plastic bags.
As a matter of fact, we can do a lot to prevent the do something to bring pollution under control.
Great changes have taken place in people's life in the past 20 years .In the past ,people kept in touch with relatives or friends mainly by sending. Letters ,they would listen to the radio for news and other used to go to school by bicycle .Big families had to share small rooms .
Now people can talk to others by telephone or on the Internet at home .When they are free ,they watch the news and other programmes on Tv .Some families are rich enough to send their children to school in their own cars . More and more people lives in big and bright apear ments with several rooms .
In a word ,people clveletter than before.
Youth has been praised by many people. They believe that it is the mostprecious time of one's lifetime, because youth stands for young age and we should cherish youth and do whatever we like.
In my opinion, when we areyoung, the first thing we need to do is to fight for our future. So we spend alot of time studying and gain much knowledge. The store of knowledge helps ussolve all kinds of problems. When we have enough ability, we are no longerafraid of meeting difficulties. The second thing we need to do is to broaden ourvision.
As we are young and full of energy, it is the best time to see morescenery. Don't wait for retirement to explore the world. What we see will makeus mature and stronger. Let's enjoy the beautiful youth.
Everyone has a dream, so do I. My dream job is to be a reporter. If I become a famous reporter, I will be famous and I will make lots of money. I will be rich. I can do lots of things. For example, I will be able to travel around the world. I will buy a big house for my parents and a car for myself. But if I am famous, I may have lots of trouble, my people will watch me all the time and they will follow me here and there, I cant do everything I like to do and also it will be hard for me to realize who my really friends are , maybe I wont be as happy as it it now. Do you think so ?
It is known to all that English is the international language. In China, English is the necessary subject for students to learn. A lot of students complain that it is so hard to master the foreign language. While for me, I am the lucky guy, because I find my ways to learn it with fun. Listening to the songs and watching movies develops my interest. I want to see more about the world and learn about the culture, so only speaking English can bring me this chance. What's more, I spend some time to write down some local saying when I watch movies. I practice it until I get familiar. Let's learn English withpassion.
In the coming summer holiday, I am going to do a lot of interesting things.
First, I will finish my holiday homework. Second, I am going to have a good rest. I am going to play computer games or listen to music when I am free, because I like them very much. But I am not good at them now. Then, I will join a basketball club to play basketball. Even if I was a girl, I like basketball very much. It can not only make me become sunny, cheerful, but also can make me healthy. Finally, I am going to visit some of my friends. We are going to play together. Maybe we will go sightseeing.
I think I will have a great summer holiday.
With the improvement of people’s material conditions, people have higher demands for living quality. People wish to be in good health and to have good living habits. How shall we do?
First, keep going to bed and getting up early every clay. Then do some exercises in the open air to breathe the fresh air in the morning, so we will have a pleasant mood in a day.

Last night I had a beautiful dream. I had turned into an alien. I flew myUFO in the sky. Suddenly I saw some people playing in a park. They were veryhappy. I wanted to join them. So I landed in the park and got out of the the people saw me， they were scared. I said hello to them. But they didn' tundersta—nd me.
After a while， only a kid came to me and asked， _Who are you？__I am your friend. _The boy got happy. He moved to my UFO. _May I play withyou？_ _Sure. You can play in the UFO with me. _When we got into the UFO， itstarted to fly into the sky. Suddenly it fell to the ground. I was scared andjumped up from the bed. Oh！ It was a dream！
My father is busy all the time, he always goes out very early and then goes home after very late. He doesn’t have much time to accompany me, my mother tells me that what he does is for the family, so I am considerate and get used to his absence. But recently, I found my father changed. He got more time to stay with me, he got home earlier and then taught me with my homework. I was so surprised and happy, this was the life I wanted all the time. I asked my father what happened, he said he wanted to spend more time with me, he realized it was the most important thing.
Recently, the live show is very popular, especially the show about the father how to get along with their children. The fathers are celebrities and they have the brilliant career. I am impressed by the fathers who are Olympic champions, their kids have the strong desire to win. When their fathers lose in the game, the kids will be very sad and can’t accept the result. No one can win all the time, we have to learn to accept the bad result. The kids think their fathers are , so they treat their fathers as the absolutely winners. Sometimes the strong desire is not good for the kids to grow up, they should have the positive attitude to the result.
With the development of civilization, it is the children's duty to study in school since they were small. As the young kids, it is their nature to hang out for fun. While for them, most of the time have been limited in the class. So they feel frustrated and don't have much passion to study. It is of great importance to develop interest. The first thing is to broaden vision.
The students can read travel books or watch tourist show, for anyone who cannot resist the charm of beautiful scenery and delicious food. The second thing is taking the right attitude to exams. Never giving too much pressure on getting high marks. The only thing we should do is to enjoy gaining knowledge.
Linda is my best friend. In some ways we look the same and in some ways welook different. We both have black eyes and black hair. Her hair is longer thanmine. She is taller and more outgoing than me. We both like sports, but sheplays tennis better, so she always wins. However, Linda often helps me to bringout the best in me. Now I’m getting better at tennis. Also, Linda is more hard –working and more careful than me, so she always get better grades than I do.
This is my best friend, I like her very much.

P14 Kangkang and Michael are good friends. They both study in Ren’ai International School. Michael is as brave as Kangkang. But Michael is not as funny as Kangkang because Kangkang often tells jokes to his friends. Michael is as helpful as Kangkang. They are both glad to help others in need.
The Dragon Boat Festival ,also called the Duanwu Festival ,is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.
The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races,especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. Its very popular.
The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice,meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice are very Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.
